.SHARECOVID-19
The world is currently experiencing an epidemic of the so-called "coronavirus" (COVID-19), first identified on December 1, 2019 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, in the Republic of China. The rapid spread of the disease led the World Health Organization to declare a state of "health emergency of international concern" on January 30, 2020, to later – and as a result of the rapid spread of the disease in all countries of the world - upgrade it to pandemic status by a declaration dated March 11, 2020.
In Chile, the government has declared a constitutional state of exception for catastrophe by decree dated March 18, 2020. Furthermore, to date, additional safeguard measures have been adopted, such as a curfew throughout the territory of the Republic from 10 p.m. until 5 a.m., mandatory quarantines in various communities, establishment of sanitary customs and sanitary cordons throughout the country, restrictions on leaving and entering the national territory, closure of educational establishments, restaurants, commercial premises, etc., among other measures that have no precedent in the recent history of our country.
