The 4th Civil Court of Copiapó decreed the stoppage of the construction of the Kaukari Urban Park in the district of Copiapó, until the judicial dispute between a private individual and the SERVIU of the Atacama Region is resolved, with respect to the possession of the land in which said work is constructed.

The work, executed by order of SERVIU Atacama through Empresa Constructora Brotec S.A., is located on mine tailings, which poses a serious risk to the safety and health of the community.
