Search fund Lemuy Group acquired 80% of Demarka S.A., a leading industrial labelling and office supplies company
.SHAREBarros Silva Varela & Vigil advised Lemuy Group in the takeover of the traditional firm Demarka. With this acquisition, Lemuy Group becomes the first Chilean search fund whose investors are mainly foreign (Spain, United States, England, Singapore, Mexico, Brazil and Israel).
The firm led the structuring process of the search fund with legal teams from different countries, and advised Lemuy Group in the legal due diligence and the negotiation and acquisition of the asset.
Lemuy Group is a search fund and as such seeks to raise capital to invest in a single company, directly taking over the management of the acquired company.
